I currently teach US History, POS 220/US Government and Modern American History.Born in the Big Apple and attending college at SUNY @ Cortland in NY, I have been a teacher since 1979-80. I spent twenty two years at Deer Valley High School, which included eleven as department coordinator, seven years as JV baseball coach, four years as Boys Varsity Soccer Coach and two seasons as Varsity Swim Team Coach, teaching such classes as AP US HIstory, AP US Government, US Government, and POS 220 (Rio Salado dual enrollment US Government). I sponsored four Close Up trips to Washington D.C. My government classes helped get the stoplight put in on 51st Ave and Union Hills, and in 2000, came close to help pass a law in the state of Arizona. I have been the freshman boys basketball team for four years.. I have been married for thirty one years (wife, Noel is a recently retired 1st grade teacher at Davidson Elementary School, Cartwright District). I have two children. Daughter, Tara, graduated from ASU, summa cum laude and is currently a fifth grade teacher at Pena Elementary School. My son, Cassio Marc, is a recent graduate of Grand Canyon University, majoring in corporate fitness and was a mid fielder on the Men's Soccer Team for the Antelopes.
